Shipping Policy for 8 Days Store

Thank you for shopping at 8 Days. We are dedicated to providing you with a seamless and satisfactory shopping experience. This Shipping Policy outlines important information regarding the shipment of your orders. Please review the following details carefully.

  1. Order Processing Time:

1.1 Order Confirmation: Once you place an order with us, you will receive an order confirmation email. This email will include the details of your purchase, including the items, quantities, and shipping address. Please review this information carefully and contact us immediately if any changes are needed. Please ensure you have entered a valid email that you can access in order to receive all communications from us. Emails may go to your Spam/Junk folder so please check here if you cannot see your confirmation once purchased. 

1.2 Order Processing: We strive to process and ship your order as quickly as possible. Most orders are processed within 1-3 business days unless stated otherwise in our descriptions. However, please note that during peak seasons or promotional periods, processing times may be slightly longer. We appreciate your patience and understanding. We will always inform you of any potential delay in order processing if we look to exceed our promise of 1-3 days.

1.3 Pre Order Titles: Pre order titles are available for purchase on our site. We will always provide the release date of these titles given to us by the record label in our title description and product detail. Please note, the release date of a title can be changed by the record label at any time. In this case, we will update the product detail as soon as is possible and contact any customers who have already pre ordered of any changes made. It is always possible to cancel a pre ordered title as long as we have not already shipped the item. We will always try to ship pre order titles so that they arrive to your door for the day of release. This will depend on the type of shipping service you have paid for. For any 'big release' titles, stock may only arrive to suppliers on the day of release for security of the music under instruction of the record label. In this case, we will ship all orders as soon as the stock is received but this means you will not have your order at your door on the release day. In the rare case of supplier shortages on a pre order title, i.e, the supplier has oversold initial allocations. We will contact you in the first instance to discuss how you would like to proceed with your order. 

  1. Shipping Methods and Delivery:

2.1 Shipping Destinations: We currently offer shipping within the United Kingdom only.

2.2 Shipping Carriers: We work with Royal Mail to provide a timely delivery of your orders. We offer standard 48 hour delivery, or for an extra charge, this can be upgraded to either express or guaranteed next day. These options are all available at the checkout. Our free UK shipping promotion over £65 will be the UK standard 48 hour shipping method. We have the right to switch off our £65 free shipping promotion when running other web store promotions. All orders will carry some form of tracking via Royal Mail. We will attach these on your order when fulfilled. We also take a picture of all packages before leaving us to ensure we can show the standard of the package sent should there be any issues when receiving. We will always endeavour to support and investigate any delivery issues or damages that may occur while in transit. We cannot however, take responsibility for loss or damage once items have left our possession, or have been confirmed as delivered via tracking at your given address. If you think your package has been lost, stolen, or damaged, please inform us so that we can try to assist with tracking information. We strongly advise you also contact your local Royal Mail sorting office immediately so that they can investigate the whereabouts of your package or where it may have been left. If you need to make a claim with Royal Mail, we will happily provide as much detail as we can to support your case.

2.3 Estimated Delivery Time: The estimated delivery time will depend on your location within the UK and the shipping method selected. Generally, you can expect your order to arrive within 1-3 business days from the date of shipment. Please note that unforeseen circumstances such as weather conditions or carrier delays may affect the actual delivery time which we can't be held responsible for.

2.4 Courier Delays In Delivering Your Package: If your package has not arrived within the times stated on our shipping windows once we have confirmed dispatch, please get in touch so that we can investigate this for you. For reference, we must wait 10 working days from our dispatch date before we can claim for any potential lost items. Based on this, we must inform you that any refunds for deliveries that have not turned up can only be refunded once 10 working days pass when we can then officially make a claim as a lost item.

3.1 Shipping Costs: Shipping costs will be calculated based on the unit amount, weight, dimensions, and destination of your package. The shipping fee will be displayed during the checkout process before you complete your purchase. Please ensure that you review the shipping cost before finalizing your order.

3.2 Free Shipping: We may offer free shipping promotions from time to time. Eligibility for free shipping will be based on specific criteria, such as order value or promotional periods. Details regarding free shipping will be communicated on our website or through promotional materials.

4.1 Once your order is shipped, we will update via email which will include all tracking details from Royal Mail. You can track your parcel via Royal Mail tracking. We are not responsible for the item while in transit.

4.2 If you have concerns about its delivery status, please contact us, and we will be happy to assist you in trying to resolve the issue.

5.1 Restricted Items: Certain items may be subject to shipping restrictions due to legal regulations or safety concerns. We will clearly indicate any restricted items on our website, and you will be unable to proceed with the purchase if these items are included in your order.

5.2 Address Accuracy: Please ensure that the shipping address you provide during the checkout process is accurate and complete. We cannot be held responsible for undelivered or delayed shipments resulting from incorrect or incomplete addresses provided by customers. No refunds or replacements will be sent if this occurs.
