Blancmange - Happy Families - CD | Pre-Order 4.12.26

First released in September 1982, Happy Families was the debut album from UK synth pop duo Blancmange. This new edition features restored artwork, with B-sides, some BBC session tracks extended versions, and remixes by Roman Flügel and Richard Norris, both appearing on CD for the first time. The single ‘Living on the Ceiling’ became the duo’s biggest track to date reaching number 7 on the UK charts, alongside singles ‘Feel Me’ and ‘Waves’. The album stayed in the UK charts for 30 weeks. “Happy Families is brimming with energy and hooks; a fine record featuring razor-sharp production, whose impressiveness only improves with age.” Classic Pop
