Recorded at London's AIR Studios and led by Mark Knopfler's distinctive guitar work and understated songwriting, On Every Street features lead single 'Calling Elvis' as well as 'Heavy Fuel', 'On Every Street' and 'The Bug'. The album reached Number 1 in the Official Album Charts in the UK and across Europe; and is certified multiplatinum across the globe. The accompanying 14-month On Every Street tour, which would become the bands' last, comprised of over 210 concerts played to over 3.5 million people in 22 countries.
